The Rhode Island Supreme Court licenses all lawyers in the general practice of law. The court does not license or certify any lawyer as an expert or specialist in any field of practice. 

Mr. Bruzzese is a native of Providence, Rhode Island. He is a graduate of LaSalle Academy in Providence and the University of Rhode Island. He is a cum laude graduate of the Suffolk University School of Law. Mr. Bruzzese is a member of the bars in the State of Rhode Island, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Bruzzese was a partner in the law firm of Coffey, McGovern, & Noel having done work both for the firm's Providence and Washington offices. He also directed that firm's workers' compensation practice.

Mr. Bruzzese is a member of  the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association. He also served as a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association Committee on medical-legal issues and its workers' compensation bench bar committee.  Mr. Bruzzese is a member of the Defense Research Institute's Committee on Workers' Compensation and has attended numerous national seminars on that topic. Mr. Bruzzese's practice centers around medical-legal issues and the litigation of workers' compensation claims.

Mr. Bruzzese has a particular interest in the areas of cross examination of medical and other experts, occupational disease litigation, the law of causation of medical conditions, technology in the practice of law, and economic issues concerning the practice of law. He is a member of committees of both the American Bar Association and Defense Research Institute that relate to law practice management. He has written and lectured quite extensively throughout his career.

Mr. Bruzzese is the principal of the Bruzzese Law Group, Inc. and maintains his office in Warwick, Rhode Island.
